Today, when I tried to start my Q4 (July 2017 build, MY2018) the engine would not crank and the IP displayed "Key Fob Not Detected". I placed the fob inside the center console, on the bottom, as instructed by the Owner-User Manual. The engine now started normally, with no IP warning.
#1 ยท Apr 30, 2017 Hi all, Needs some help here This morning i tried to unlock my 159 with my remote key, but nothing. I replaced battery - nothing. Tried 2nd Key - nothing. I can unlock manually and have checked the relevant fuse on the panel - (to the lower right of the steering wheel).

Key Fob Not Detected this morning. both key fobs not detected and when I tried to just lock and unlock doors I got the corner lights to flash but that's it. didn't have time to try putting fob in the special center console spot because I had an appointment to get to but that's next.
